Day 2 - Feltre to Dolomiti Bellunesi 100K (or so)

We ate our breakfast about 9am, loaded the 9 passenger van with 7 bikes, 7 people and luggage for all. The team's spatial dynamics were so clear that we had ample leg room for the 1.5 hour drive to the Belluno valley at the base of the dolomites.

Our AGRITURISMO in the small town just east of Feltre was our days starting point at around 1130am. There were rumors of a nice flat, spin out the legs day...but it turned into a 5 hour ride of nearly 100K and 4K feet of climbing into the dolomiti national park, just south of the big climbs. It was a good taste of the big rocks with incredible jaggy vistas in the distance. For the second day in a row, we had no lunch, drove through burning more calories than we had put into us. We again plan to catch up a dinner with an amazing local meal at our AGRITURISMO.

Stats for the day:
7 riders
2 flats
Too many cliff bars not
1 gelato stop
4K climb
12 precarious mountain tunnels
5 hours ride time
1 cranky rider - rode 2 miles up road until I realized I forgot my water bottles.

Tomorrow is another fabulous day as the weather has been perfect!
